The Clubhouse Movement Grand Avenue Club is an active participant in the international community of like-minded clubhouses that are united under the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD). Grand Avenue Club is a charter member of the ICCD, which coordinates advocacy, training, consultation, and the accreditation process for all Standards-based clubhouses. The ICCD also coordinates the international seminar, which is held every other year. Two Grand Avenue Club members serve on the Faculty for Clubhouse Development. Our Executive Director is a member of the ICCD Advisory Council. Grand Avenue Club also participates actively in the Wisconsin Clubhouse Coalition (WCC). WCC consists of 4 Wisconsin Clubhouses that are committed to the International Clubhouse Standards. WCC sponsors an annual Conference at Camp Helen Brachman in Almond, Wisconsin every May. WCC members are eager to work with people throughout "dairy state" who want to start or develop a clubhouse. |
